Restart/Milano redefines the boundaries of the gift by pairing each object sometimes with a functional leap, sometimes with a story, sometimes with a renewed use.
From this come boxes that are identical on the outside, hand-tied with string and sealed with lead. The story on the outside, the gift inside.
It is up to you to decide: keep only the story, or discover the content.

Description
In 1965, Olivetti included in its gift catalogue a splendid melamine ashtray designed by Giorgio Soavi.
Today, in a world where smoking is at least discouraged, we propose it again: the same object, now carved from a solid block of aluminium, with the inscription “Smoking seriously harms your health” replacing one of its ash hollows.
